This song is so horrible because it reminds me of how cool I thought I was for liking Something Corporate before all the other fifteen year-olds did (it turns out we all lost there), but I’m getting excited for my impending trip to Boston so I’ve been listening to it all day.
Except I went to college in New England, so unlike the main character in this song, some people in Boston do know my name. Wait—is that lyric supposed to be an Alanic joke about Cheers or am I reading into this too deeply?
