Kind of old, although not old enough to be have been gone for a long time and be hip again, this song came up on my iPod today and it puts me in a great mood, so I thought it was worth putting up here.
I mean, how good is that, and over a drumless soulful gospel choir and horns? Ahhhh… When the drums, bass, and claps come in for the Pimp C verse, I’m pretty much good to go.
I was pretty busy accidentally listening to Fairouz in cabs when this song came out so the first time I heard it was in ‘Play Your Part’ on the new Girl Talk album. Anyway, I like it.
